Here is the beta 2. Combining a few ideas of yours and a few of mine.

New things:

-Press 'A' for a laser (1000 Points)
-Rockets are now only 500 points
-Rocket damage is wider
-Weapons take up points and lost points are shown
-Tunnel will split into 2 frequently

Haha well that'll teach me for not reading the description first. I had no idea there was weaponry.

I was forced into the ground because of an oncoming rock 14594 in. Would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for those pesky kids.

I liking this so far. :D

I know I cant possibly compare to any of these previous detailed coments,
But I do want to tell you, youve made it way to easy to get out of a hard place, with the weapons and nevitive points feature.
Cool, yes. But dumbs the game down alot, in my opinion.

Hm...good point you make. I was thinking that in the next version you only get a certain amount of uses of certain weapons and you can pick up "ammo" in the tunnel. You think that would help solve the fact that weapons make it too easy by limiting their uses?

That could defeat the purpose, but, yeah, todally. Pick-ups would be awesome.

I like it. I think it's time that you add sound to it, and perhaps a nice tune too. Make sure they're not too loud. The ship needs a (insert flame booster sound), but it has to be low and undistracting. Just a constant wsssshhhh. Also, the rockets need a
PKBfff sound when you launch them, a WRrrssH sound when flying, and BMMPH collision sound.

also, a chime-y sound for the clicking of the "OKAY" button.

I assume you have a source for free sounds...but I think i'll reccomend Flashkit.com just in case.

I like it... and just one more suggestion;

perhaps...as the game goes along, the speed of the tunnel/ your movement should speed up for gradual difficulty addedness.

oh

and the ship's Y movement is too static. It should start out slow, then hit a max speed, then decelerate until it bottoms out...to simulate the ship's inertia.

...you know?

Very nice ideas. Ill search for sound and ill do the inertia for the ships movement.

fuck me thats some awsome looking stuff there dude. a huge improvement on the last tunnel gen i saw on yur page. makes me wanna redo mine and try getting it working properly.
